Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan I was introduced to art at an early age. As a kid, my love of drawing was fostered by Ed Emberly’s series of books, where I learned to draw simple forms that transformed into robots and spaceships. With over 14 years of design experience, my skills have expanded from the drawings I did as a child, but I still hold the same design aesthetic as Emberly and value simplicity when it comes to design (and I still love robots and spaceships).

I currently reside in Rochester, NY, where I am married to a beautiful, creative photojournalist and together we have an energetic boxer pup who always keeps us on the move.
